Well done David Tennant. Best choice Masterpiece has ever made for a host. Look forward to watching all episodes of Masterpiece Contemporary now. |

Hi jklee67
We're glad you are enjoying David Tennant on Masterpiece Contemporary. We're thrilled to have him. In case you haven't seen it yet, you might enjoy out behind-the-scenes interview with him: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/masterpiece/contemporary/tennant.html
Marianne, hopefully we'll entice you to stick around for the programs! There are some great films coming up in the Contemporary season.

I can't thank you enough for snagging David Tennant for Masterpiece Contemporary. He is multi-talented and lovely! The movies this year look awesome and I'm really looking forward to the next two!
David Tennant certainly has the Midas touch and I sure hope your ratings for MC reflect that!
Any chance we'll see him again next Fall? I'm sure he would be more than happy to return!
For once, I have actually been persuaded to make a donation to PBS by simply hearing the sincerity in David Tennant's voice... but in all fairness I would probably do anything he asked me to as a viewer! |

| Agreed that the host was great at introducing this interesting and entertaining mystery. Love the backstory intro .... I think it helped quite alot for this show. Looking forward to the conclusion. |

Yes, I also love his interview about how he's trying to turn Laura Linney Scottish so it will a "Scottish triple play." He's so cute.
I admit I don't watch Dr. Who, but I have seen him in Masterpiece/Mystery stuff and Tennet's a good actor. _________________ "I must admit, I find television educational. Every time someone turns on a tv, I go in another room and read." ~ Groucho Marx |

My favorite Dr. Who was Eccleston but I also like Tenant. Unfortunately Dr. Who is no longer a PBS offering. I have to get it from NEtflix with a fairly long time delay. The spin-off Torchwood is sometimes interesting...sometimes so,so. Primeval, another UK offering, I like. The special effects are good.
The pseudo-historical like Endgame are less interesting - the edges between fiction and reality get very blurred. Mythology. _________________ "The goal of a just society is inseparable from love and beauty"...Ralph Nader
