Make room, carnivores. Vegetarians, take note. Scientists have tested modes of tissue engineering that could lead (in 10 or more years) to the affordable production of lab-made meat that does not require the killing of animals. There might be other advantages to lab-made meat: getting food from animals takes a lot of energy, generates a lot of waste, and can even sometimes make us sick. But is it strange to eat food grown in a laboratory? Would you eat lab-made meat? What are the pros and cons as you see them?
