| Long before anti-wrinkle creams and fad diets, we humans began seeking ways to extend life—witness for one Ponce de León’s quixotic quest for the elusive Fountain of Youth. Now, promising new research shows that our chance to live healthier and potentially longer lives could well be within reach. With our global population expected to reach nine billion or more by century’s end, do you see this as a good thing, a bad thing, or a little of both? |
